Equine9 was born out of a search for a new pair of half chaps.

Louise started training, breeding, and simply enjoying horses years ago. A rough count up tells us that she has owned and worked with over 60 horses in the last 15 years. After buying lots of new and second hand saddles and tack for all those horses, Louise has learned a fair bit about what works (and what doesn’t) for a pleasure horse rider.

As Louise searched on-line for just the right pair of half chaps, she decided to build Equine9 to make it simple for others to be able to find great equestrian products and horse gear at an affordable price. In a nutshell, Equine9 is there to help people easily find all they need to enjoy their horse.

One part of the site is providing great horse gear – a carefully selected range of equestrian supplies that are ‘products with purpose’. But it’s designed to be far more than a shop. Louise is forever grateful to a wonderful neighbour who gave her lots of help and advice when she started out with her first horse. So Equine9 also provides advice, contacts, and ideas for pleasure horse riders – new or experienced.

What you see now is just the beginning … Louise plans to keep Equine9 changing and growing with new products and new ideas. And those half chaps? Well she’s still looking for just the right pair…
